Amy is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University and Loyola University Chicago, where she earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration and an MBA, respectively. After more than 20 years of running a successful business and raising a family on Maui, Amy is able to offer Maui-style advice on living the Maui dream.
Luckily for Amy, growing up in Alaska included many family trips to Hawaii. The love affair with the islands was long and heartfelt. After spending years in Seattle, Amy and her husband moved to Chicago while Amy earned her MBA. As graduation loomed, it was finally time to follow Maui's siren call. Amy and her husband moved to Maui to start a new adventure. Since arriving on the island in 2003, Amy has been co-founder, co-owner and operator of the award-winning Ho'oilo House, Maui's most luxurious B&B. Always ready for a new adventure, Amy joined the exciting Maui real estate market 10 years ago. She is excited for the new future with Coldwell Banker Island Properties. Amy helped us find our perfect condo six years ago. We valued her opinions and trusted her instincts as she guided us through the pros and cons of each. We recently decided to sell, and the obvious Pro to call was Amy. Lots of showings and offers came in quickly. SOLD! She did a great job.!

Just to understand how I grade. Five stars to me would be people on the top 5-10%. Four stars would be from 75-90%.Amy has represented two friends of ours, which is how we found her. Our initial meeting with her was to discuss the elements of our listing. Her knowledge and expertise led us to list for an amount that allowed us to get the asking price we wanted in a short time frame.Like most listings there were things that needed to be addressed along the way and Amy responded to our questions promptly. Further...it seemed she had a relationship with other agents that made dealing with offers and counter-offers a bit easier.From listing to sale was about 50 days, far shorter than normal for the condo complex we lived in. There were virtually no hitches once an acceptable offer was received, and Amy even assisted in helping us find an electrician for a minor wiring issue and a housekeeper for the cleaning for the final walk-through before closing.We would certainly recommend to anyone buying or selling a property, interview Amy and see if her skill-set is a good match for your needs.

Amy was very patient with us and worked with us to find the right place. She took us to places a second or third time when we requested it so that we could really look over the possibility. Each time we arranged to meet, she was on time and had the materials we needed to make a good decision. Her advice was invaluable. When we finally made a decision, she guided us through the process so that we could approach every step with confidence.
