It is with great excitement that Lucy Adams rejoins to the Coldwell Banker Island Properties in Koloa, Kauai.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Lucy and her family relocated to Scottsdale AZ where she received her degree in Communication from Arizona State University. Before deciding to become a real estate agent, Lucy enjoyed working across diverse industries and fields. She served as Director of Public Events at Taliesin West (Frank Lloyd Wright’s School of Architecture), Event Planner at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts, enjoyed the challenge of working for the prominent law firm of Lewis & Roca, and served as a Certified Mediator for the Arizona Attorney General. Moving to Kauai in 1991 and she and her husband owned and operated several Resort Retail stores on Kauai. Lucy parlayed these varied experiences into a successful career as a Coldwell Banker Real Estate agent which she began in Scottsdale, Arizona. Once entering Real Estate on Kauai, she immediately began playing a significant role in the local luxury real estate market. She joined Coldwell Banker Island Properties because of the company’s reputation for an exceptional staff, and its ability to provide her clients with exceptional tools and products.
As an agent, it’s important for Lucy to deliver services beyond her clients’ expectations. She prides herself on integrity, good character, and honesty, and lives by the mantra that "Thoughts become words - words become actions - and actions become character--and Character is everything.” Having earned the Global Luxury Status at CB, a CLMHS-Guild Member and ABR, Lucy’s love of Kauai and the diverse nature of real estate offerings on the island position her as an invaluable resource for clients interested in Kauai’s luxury real estate market.
Always active in her community, Lucy and her husband Gary became charter members of the Hanalei Bay Rotary Club and have enjoyed working on Kauai community projects. The two also traveled abroad as Rotary volunteers on humanitarian medical missions to Africa and China. Being involved in community and humanitarian projects solidifies her belief in the concept that you get out of life exactly what you give. While raising five children, Lucy found time to train and complete several marathons. She enjoys reading, walking her Chihuahua and sharing sunsets with her husband Gary.
