We were fortunate enough to meet Marcus Nygren 6 years ago at The Shops of Wailea sales office. We weren’t exactly sure what we were looking for but Marcus took the time to really listen to our needs and wants and offered several listings from condos to homes. We are from Canada so we visited Maui once or twice a year. Every time we visited Maui, Marcus was available or he would try to juggle his schedule to make himself available. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in the housing market and was always on top of his game. Even in the face of some huge challenges Marcus stayed focused on what we needed to do to sell our condo. Marcus was very positive about selling our condo even in a rather slow market. He managed to juggle many open houses in between renters, cleaners and our own plans to spend time in the unit. Being 4 absentee partner/owners, he did a masterful job of keeping us all informed of the results of every inquiry. The pending sale is where he really threw in his expertise - he organized many of the necessary processes - for example, the inspection, the pest control, the new owner walk through, the window replacement quotes - being our eyes and ears and representing us as well as we could have ourselves. He went totally above and beyond when he oversaw the disposal of the household goods for us - one of us would have had to fly over to do this but Marcus made it happen without an owner being present. He was always positive, pleasant, organized, knowledgeable, communicative and dependable. We would call upon him immediately were we in the Maui market again!

Marcus helped us purchase a lot to build our dream house. He found the lot we really wanted and was able to get a deal done even though it wasn't on the market. He had some great referrals on architects as well, and we ended up going with one of his recommendations.
